We've brought you big bananas and big ugly koalas, but now we're fairly sure we've found the ugliest Big Thing in Australia.

Journey to Robertson, New South Wales, less than two hours north of Sydney. Billing itself as "the green heart of the southern highlands", the area is agricultural and specializes in growing potatoes. Naturally enough, then, their greatest tourist attraction is the Big Potato. The local website describes it in this way:

Local myth has it that this is a fossilised dinosaur's turd, which turns into a giant wombat on misty summer afternoons and wanders the Robertson country lanes in search of its mate.
