Experience China, Get "Serious Criticism"
Experiential travel is the way to go, right: Getting totally involved with the culture and history of a place. A German student currently studying in China took this all the way recently when he visited Xian in the country's center. The nearby archaelogical wonder of the Army of Terracotta Warriors played host to this student's spot of performance art when he changed into his carefully made warrior costume and jumped into one of the pits full of the historical terracotta warriors. Security guards who'd been on his tail needed a few minutes to find him as he stood stock still and blended in perfectly.
Given that he didn't actually do any harm, the local authorities kicked him out without any criminal charges: But they did, they say, give him "serious criticism". We wonder what kind of copycat acts this could inspire--tourists dressed as English bobbies take over the streets of London, or perhaps some brunette pops into the Louvre to replace the Mona Lisa?
