Death on the Rails!

Whoops--guess China is still working out the kinks on their whole railroad at 17,000 ft to Tibet thing. A 75-year old man from Tibet, suffering from altitude sickness and heart problems from the trip out to Lhasa, boarded the train and died along the route late last month.

Yikes! This isn't quite as scary as we thought--we imagined some kind of hideous depressurization, as the train's cabin is pressurized just like an airplane--as much as it was a case of bad traveling. If you're suffering from altitude sickness, do what the Buddhist doctors tell you to do. Yeesh.
