Underground Travel

It's an old travel adage that the best way to get to know a city is to explore it via public transportation. That way you can see how residents live (well, except for Los Angeles, but never mind that); also, it increases your chances of getting lost, which is the other travel adage for getting to know a city well.

This cool site lets you keep track of just how many metros you've been on in your travel career. Plus, you get to see who has the coolest and ugliest logos for their respective subways. For the record, we haven't been on all that many--it's a good thing we get to count Berlin twice.
