Tacos Come to Vancouver

By now we all know that Hollywood is taking over Vancouver, at least in terms of the entertainment industry.  But it turns out that SoCal food is taking over the fair northern city, too.  We suppose all those imported workers need something to remind them of home.

The Taco Shack was actually started by a native Angeleno who's lived his adult life in Canada playing for the CFL.  He gets points for authenticity, and the tacos are getting good reviews so far.  The salsas and guacamole are made in-house, so it stands to reason that it's delicious.  However, until Vancouverites have tasted a taco served out of the back of a truck at 4am, they don't know real taco goodness.

The shack is brand new, but with any luck they'll get some celebrity clientele soon.  We've got a map going of all the hot spots and shooting locations in Vancouver right now; it's a perfect travel guide for those of you heading to this city of great beaches, food, and nightlife.
