Movie Set Travel: My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Glamazon Uma Thurman is back in My Super Ex-Girlfriend which hits theatres today. The plot revolves around Uma's boyfriend, Luke Wilson, who dumps her for being too needy. Unbeknownst to him, his ex-gal's a superhero, and has all the powers to make his life a living hell.

Much of the film was shot in Astoria, Queens, (now with 100% less power!) we offer you some cool things to check out in the area to help you escape that pyscho ex:

Where To Chug:
Bohemian Hall and Beer Gardens
A close walk from the subway, this outdoor beer garden is perfect on a summer or fall day. A slice of Czech Republic, you can enjoy some authentic klobasy, traditional music, and hard-to-find Czech beers (including Staropramen and the occasional Gambrinus). Head that way tomorrow and take part in the Pilsner promo at 2pm. By the time you leave, you'll probably have a tough time remembering your ex's name.

Where To Eat:
Uncle George's
Head over to Broadway and grab a seat at Uncle George's (if you can find one). Be prepared to stuff yourself on delicious Greek fare, don't miss the lamb burgers and tzatziki. This place won't break the bank and you won't leave you feeling "needy" for more food.

Where To Walk It Off:
Astoria Park
One of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in the city, Astoria Park covers over 60 acres and has the city's largest public swimming pool, as well as bocce courts, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts. Or just pass out under a tree and forget all about the ex.
