Celebrity Power Rankings at St. Regis Monarch Beach

A vacation is exotic if you're paying out the nose for it. That must be the appeal the St. Regis Monarch Beach holds for celebrities making the 40-minute jaunt down from L.A. for a weekend full of the best that Orange County has to offer. All kinds of flashy people, like Ludacris and various blonde "starlets," have been showing up at Monarch Beach to get in on that personal butler and private cabana action.

The hotel goes purposefully over the top, offering a $60 buffet breakfast that boasts 50 different kinds of pancakes--and nobody in Southern California even eats white flour anymore! On the other hand, maybe that's the very thing that got Britney there, when she chose the location to take some "I'm a good mommy" photos with her first-born on the manicured lawns.

Britney is famous enough to go outside, but not all celebrities are that lucky. Those watching "My Life on the D-List" last night surely noticed that Kathy Griffin ordered room service for every meal, indicating some sort of D-List prison within the Presidential Suite. We hope the pancakes were available through room service.
