HotelChatter: I went to a hotel opening party at the Hotel Angeleno.

Jaunted: This is a new hotel in L.A.? What's the demographic?

HotelChatter: Biz travelers mainly but the top floor restaurant is sweet. It overlooks the LA landscape and the 405 which sounds gnarly but at night it looks pretty cool all lit up.

Jaunted: Ahh, L.A. Freeway views! What a selling point!

HotelChatter: Yes, i can see hollywood producers over 70 proposing to their 25 yr old girlfriends up there.  

Jaunted: So it's designed to impress naive young women. Always a plus.

HotelChatter: Yes, they did a really good on the interior considering it used to be a Holiday Inn everyone was pretty impressed with how swank they made it.  

Jaunted: It's easy to appreciate a hotel when you know it used to be a Holiday Inn.
