Dare to Compare Your Fares

Are you an airfare data hound? C'mon, don't be shy. We know you're out there. Let's put it another way--do you like to know when you can find the cheapest airfare on any given day? Ah, that's better. We thought that was the case.

If you do, you might want to think about using supreme airline ticketing tool FareCompare. It does exactly what it sounds like: it aggregates the same ticketing data that sites like expedia and kayak receive for searches, but also presents them as historical graphs. You can search for fares from a destination or between two destinations, and coolest of all, you can search for the rare but awesome y-up and q-up fares, which are slightly more expensive but put you first in line for an upgrade from economy. Mostly, though, you are armed with more information than a simple search on a fare aggregator site.
