Sex, Bears and Shooting Darts

Thank God World Cup excitement is continuing in Germany right now. Without it, the nightly news would consistent entirely of an Angie Merkel and Bruno the Bear's diet. Of course, we can't get enough of this bloodthirsty problem bear wandering through Bavaria, and things are getting so ridiculous we have to report further.

The Finnish experts and their obviously not-so-expert dogs are still without success in their attempts to track down and capture Bruno, whose recent menu now includes chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits and a guinea pig. They failed to grab him on the weekend when he wandered through resort village Kochel am See, despite his nap outside the police station. More recently, an animal trainer offered his 13-year-old performing bear Nora--currently in heat--to help flush out Bruno, but the experts said Bruno is a mere two years old, Bruno just wouldn't be into that yet. He must think girl bears still have cooties at that age.

If you can't make it to Bavaria yourself to join the hunt, don't worry; an enterprising German retailer's produced the Bruno der Bär online game. Click on Bruno as he pops up around the forest to shoot him (humanely) with an anesthetic dart. Most likely you'll do a better job than the "experts".
