Carry-On Baby?

May 16, 2006 at 11:38 AM | by markj | 1 Comment

Either KLM is redefining the term "baby on board" by installing some sort of new fangled in-cabin baby hammocks, or some rather adventurous parents figured out that their young one was happiest in the contraption pictured above the white haired dude in this photo.

We have heard that KLM really goes above and beyond when it comes to baby travelers--bringing extra baby food, constantly offering water and juice, etc, but configuring tiny pack and plays complete with safety belts? That is new to us.

So, enlighten us--What is going on here?

what would happen if that baby fell? I hope that old man has cat like reflexes and eyes in the back of his head.
