British Government to Charge Citizens for Vomiting Abroad

Oi! Listen up! It's become more and more common for partying Brits to have their bachelor and bachelorette weekends on the Continent, much to the chagrin of the countries that host them. Cheap airfares mean that you might as well get drunk and crazy in Amsterdam or Prague as opposed to, say, Slough.

The only problem is that the "stag and hen party" shenanigans often result in losing money, getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly, and injuries. British Embassies and consulates have to clean up the mess. The British government would now like to start enforcing a law on the books that will allow embassies to charge £84.50 ($151) an hour for their help -- in particular when it's the drunk Brits themselves that were at fault. Sounds like a contingency fund might be a good idea -- and not just one for buying more beer.
