Run Away from These Runways

Some airports are scarier than others. Kai Tak in Hong Kong was famed for having one of the scariest approaches, right over the rooftops of the city and finishing with a sideways, checkerboard landing. San Marteen (video below) blasts beachgoers with jet wash as planes land--who would want to sunbathe there?
CNN lists what airports are considered "scary" because of poor layout. Easy targets Newark, Heathrow, and Charles de Gaulle all get the nod, as does Keflavik in Iceland. JFK, however, sneaks away without a mention, and that's a travesty. While some terminals over there are tolerable, the Delta Terminal (Terminal 3) is a miserable, dingy place, with a Chili's being the sole selling point, and that's a stretch.
Each time an airport gets turned into something beautiful (Vancouver, SeaTac, Schiphol, Changi and even DFW's remodeled areas), eating at that Chili's kills us a little bit more. We'll just sob quietly into our Southwestern Eggrolls...
