Connect Three: BA Squares Off Against EasyJet and Ryanair

British Airways is re-launching their regional airport service soon as "BA Connect". They insist that it's not a cheap-o airline to compete with Ryanair and EasyJet, and it would appear that they are telling the truth. While quality, it's still far more expensive than the other two.
Of course, you get what you pay for. If you want to experience a grim cabin environment, inconvenient airports and departure times, and ridiculously low prices, choose Ryanair. BA Connect is more than twice as expensive, but the food is edible, the airports less remote, and the staff less surly.
EasyJet is regarded as the best compromise--airports are closer to civilization, the staff is friendly, and while everything is painted orange, it works well enough.
Americans better start studying carriers like EasyJet. JetBlue still has frills, and these European carriers are no-frills operations; they aleady charge for food and drinks. In other words, we've seen the future, and it's orange.
