The Gorillapod is a 6-inch tall, flexible tripod that can be wrapped around stationary objects and set up on uneven terrain. It's not for a high-end photographer, but at $22 it seems like a great piece of gear for getting a bird's-eye view and for getting a few less smudged-looking vacation shots.
