Christina Aguilera Stays Dirrty in Moscow

March 15, 2006 at 5:34 PM | by | Comments (0)

This week, Christina Aguilera was reportedly paid a staggering £580,000 to sing at a Russian billionaire's birthday bash.

Suleiman Kerimov, who Forbes ranked one of the world's richest men, celebrated his 40th birthday in Moscow and wanted some top entertainment, so he bought the twenty five year old blonde for a night.

Moscow is no longer the bargain city it once was, and while we are sure Suleiman took care of "Drrty" while she was in Russia, we can't help but wonder...what luxurious Moscow travel haunts did she hit?  And was Jordan Bratman along for the ride?  Probably.  Must be nice to have a sugar mamma. In any event, here are some Moscow suggestions for the trio:

Where To Stay:
Golden Apple Hotel. Moscow's design hotel count was stuck on zero until the Golden Apple came on the scene a couple years back.  The hotel is in a good area, about a 20 minute walk from Red Square, not that the Drrty Diva will have to walk anywhere while she is in town.  Canadian architect Rafael Shafir designed this place in a Schrager-esque, which means small rooms and cool furniture.  However, the penthouse apartments are huge, and are "designed to leave the guests a sense of calm", which is always good.  If Suleiman was looking to impress Christina, a night in one of these apartments might have done the trick.

Where To Eat:
Cafe Pushkin. This three story classic Russian cafe is open 24-hours a day--perfect if Suleiman wants to try to hit Bratman and Christina up with a Redfordesque indecent proposal.  You can order anything from beef stroganoff to caviar, so all tastes and price ranges have a chance to be satisfied here.

Where To Party:
Albion Bar. Expat Denis Salnikov, who runs the eXile, has plenty of sweaty one off expat clubs and bar recommendations that should help Christina remain as raunchy as she wants to be.
