From the Cockpit

Photosets on the ground of places are good, but perspective is better. That's why we like jetblasts2k's photostream from Flickr. A professional pilot from Kuwait, his photos capture aspects and views of travel that the average tourist almost never gets to see.

It's rare to see pictures that are as beautiful as they are informative in their documentary aspect. Baghdad Airport, contrails going through clear air turbulence, and the world's largest checkerboard are all represented from 35,000 feet. It's enough to make flying seem romantic again.
