What To Do:

Horseback Riding on the Beach
Ok, we know some people think the ubiquitous Pink Sands Beach horses that frolic in the water look "obviously malnourished", and we will be the first to tell you, no one over here at Jaunted is a large animal vet, however, we would be remiss if we didn't mention that many people go horseback riding on the beach in Harbour Island

Water Activities
No parasailing, no jet skiing, however, you can rent a kayak, or check out the nearby reefs with a snorkel. Certified divers can hit up the Valentie's Dive Center and go on dive excursions, while those that would rather stay on top of the water can ask the many boatmen hanging out on the docks for a paid boat tour of the surrounding area. If you are really hardcore, you can go on a bonefishing tour. Average bonefish caught per day: 3-15 from 2-15 lbs!

Explore the Island
Most people do this by golf cart, which is a little lame in our opinion. Not only are the carts $50 per day (as much as a rental car!), but these carts also clog up the roads and make a lot of noise. Plus, because the driving is on the left side of the road, silly Americans are constantly reeking havoc on the roads. Throw in the fact that most people go to lunch or dinner, get bombed, then drive their golf cart back to their hotel and we think you will agree that avoiding these carts isn't a bad idea. Granted, if you are a family or an older traveller these carts can be a lifesaver, however, we were able to walk the entire island. The island is only three miles long, here is the best current Harbour Island map on the web.

Celeb Spotting
No really. It is a tiny island that is inhabited by super models (Elle McPherson has a house here, SI Swimsuit Issue 2006 did a photo shoot here), which in turn means Grade A skirt chasers like Colin Farrell and Leonardo DiCaprio can't be far behind. Keep your eyes peeled, you never know who you might run into on the island.

Random Island Tips
· There is more traffic on this island than you can imagine. Yes it is shocking, but between all the golf carts and the Brilanders going to and from the construction gigs on the island, the traffic is non stop.
· Roosters roam free on this island. If you can't sleep through a steady stream of cockadoodledos you might be grumpy all day long. Luckily, we are heavy sleepers.
