Another Case of Whiskey Vik

We've all been there, Vikram. International playboy/hotelier--we'd kill for that designation--Vikram Chatwal begged off on his honeymoon in the Maldives because of a "pinched nerve" in his arm from too much partying. Ouch!

Meanwhile, our sister let her fingers do the walking, and she found that Vikram's Night Hotel is indeed open for business with rooms available for $219 a night. That's cheaper than the Manhattan Holiday Inn at Christmastime. Sounds like a good deal to us, especially with all the loving, tender care lavished on the alcohol-based aspects of the hotel:

The lobby has an fancy-pants liquor cabinet (can't they just keep the booze next to the bed like everyone else?) 24 hour bottle service to rooms and flights of brandy available in the lounge. Perhaps these details are the ones nearest and dearest to Vikram's heart.

As for us, we can't wait to get it up there. Sorry, get up there.
