We find spa treatments to be generally suspect. Mineral Scrubs? Seaweed wraps? We'll take our bottled water with minerals, and our seaweed wrapped around some raw fish, thank you very much.

Saunas seem legit, though. Sweating out all those toxins sounds sensible, and believe us, we've got plenty of toxins to be rid of these days.

Tying to freeze them out, though? We're not so sure. That's not stopping Czech entrepreneur Jan Telensky, who has opened a geothermal resort named AquaCity in Poprad, Slovakia that specializes in "Cryotherapy".

Cryotherapy is meant to improve circulation and eliminate cellulite by sticking your cold self in the snow, in a room where temperatures are sixty below, for two minutes at a stretch. Sounds remarkably unpleasant. The resort also offers saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and other less insane forms of relaxation related to the thermal springs on site, but Cryotherapy is their main claim to fame.

Do ladies get those facials with cucumbers on their eyelids anymore? We liked those.
