Aghast at Agave

Today's bad fare is something of a PSA for the kids. We're here to warn them about a dangerous, addictive thing that's a scourge of college campuses: Cheap fares to Cancun in March ($79 OW from Detroit, $99OW from LGA on Spirit, via Travelzoo). No, no, no.

It sounds great. Sun! Señor Frogs! Drinking! Hot Bodies! But what else happens in March? Spring Break. And despite the many hours of Girls Gone Wild and MTV True Life you may have seared into your reptile brain telling you otherwise, it's not a place that you want to be that time of year. So stay away. Go be obnoxious in France or build a gravity bong, we don't care, but avoid Cancun at all costs. Don't say we didn't warn you.
