Airline Report: Run, BA, Run!

On a scale of 1 to 10, how kosher are radiation jokes? Perhaps a 2? We can't help but think of the little guy to the right whenever we mention British Airways' run-in with radioactivity. Speaking of, it looks like some staffers are eager to get away from their company's polonium-toasted jets.

According to a press release, British Airways was the first to enter a corporate team into the 2007 Dubai Marathon. Five staffers will join Paul Starrs, their Commercial Manager in the Middle East (and a Dubai resident), for an offshoot of the race on January 12. While the BA team will run in a 10-kilometer road race (understandable), the main event is a standard marathon. It's going to be huge and the best yet, just like everything else in Dubai. Also, as soon as you're done reading this, Sheik Mo will be on CNN announcing the first-ever moon marathon, construction plans for its gold-paved track, and the Dubai-based rocket launch.
