When we last left our intrepid racers, they were bedded down with some Bedouins just off the Road to Marrakech...literally. The models, Tyler and James, are off first admiring the Moroccan sunrise and plotting the demise of DuKat. Rob and Kimberly bounce back from their flat tire, while Bama gets sweet, sweet karmic revenge on DuKat, who yielded them. Will Rob and Kimberly pull it together? Will Lyn and Karlyn sass their way through the rest of the race? Will Dustin and Kandice succumb to bad karma after their botched yield? Will Tyler and James finally get busy? Answers, and more snarky comments, after the jump!
The models are the first to depart the Nomadic Berber Camp, and head off into the fray toward Casablanca, noting that "nothing is like a good Moroccan sunrise, yo." Tyler and James plot against Dustin and Kandice, seeing the blondes as fiercer competition than Bama. Rob and Kimberly get philosophical, hoping to win the million bucks so they can get married and reproduce. Is that what is costs these days?

On the way to Casablanca, the models stop at the friendly Shell station for directions, forgetting that blondes not only have more fun, but also have an easier time convincing locals to jump into their car and act as personal GPS systems. So, the teams arrive in Casablanca and stumble smack into a Roadblock, and, as you know, a Roadblock may be completed by only one member of the team. This one entails grinding up a pound camel meat, grilling and eating it. Yum! We at Jaunted would note that this is a feeble attempt at a "Gross-Out Eating Challenge" from episodes past (remember the fish eyes?). Nonetheless, Tyler and James are first to reach the Roadblock, and James is up to bat on this one.

We were impressed with James' meat handling skills and we're betting this is not the only meat he's ground on this trip. James gobbles down the meat like a champ, and Tyler looks on, proudly. Dustin and Kandice are the next to arrive and make haste with the meat eating contest. They seem to know just what to do with the grinding, grilling and devouring. Way to go, girls!

Elsewhere, Rob and Kimberly and the Bama girls are hopelessly lost looking for the next clue. Rob bickers with Kimberly (duh) and almost has a meltdown before finally finding the clue. Kimberly begs Rob not to talk to her as she chokes down the meat. Note to Rob: she seems to have difficulty with large amounts of meat in her mouth...you may want to work on that. Meanwhile, Lyn and Karlyn exhibit lots of sass and non-stop running of the mouth at each other. Bama slings attitude everywhere while trying to consume the entire pound of ground camel. Ugg!

As per usual, everyone ends up in one enormous pile at the airport, and manages to book the same flight to Barcelona, but not before DuKat demurely ask the models to sacrifice a first place win for them. Little does DuKat know, but their feminine wiles have no effect on Tyler and James, who reaffirm their commitment to eliminate the Barbies...and to play tonsil hockey off camera. DuKat calls Rob and Kimberly copycats (does anyone really say that anymore?!) and Lyn and Karlyn are still sniping at each other at the airport.

Once everyone arrives in Barcelona, Spain, it's off to a Detour. "Lug It" has the racers walking with larger than life puppets to Carrer de Sant Felip Neri, where they receive their next clue. In "Lob It," the racers must search a mountain of tomatoes for a clue while being pelted with said tomatoes by locals. The models and the blondes both opt for "Lug It," and hit the streets, but not before Tyler exclaims, "Dude, I'm such a hot giant chick right now." Uh, right. Both teams get a wee bit lost, but find the clue box in the end.

Meanwhile, over at Tomato Mountain, Rob and Kimberly have an absolute and utter meltdown, complete with screaming, quitting and a few tears. It is perhaps the single most delicious moment on the entire race. We've been waiting for it, and it is fantastic! Huge in scope and drama, it unfolds like a car wreck and smells like doom. Alas, they stick to it and find the damned clue, all the while being bombarded by the angry villagers (okay, they weren't angry). Rob and Kimberly are instructed to head to the pit stop at Palau Nacional de Mont Juic, where they will be one step closer to their wedding and having babies.

Surprisingly, Lyn and Karlyn assault Tomato Mountain with such vengeance, that the villagers seem to back off. They find their clue, and are in second place at this point! Wow! We were stunned!

It's a classic Amazing Race finish, all four teams racing to the Pit Stop, but not without challenges. Barcelona traffic rears its ugly head, and allows CBS a few good minutes for commercials. Rob and Kimberly bicker themselves all the way to a first place finish. They win an awesome trip for two to Barbados, spa money and a land and sea safari. Rob cries and says he wants to marry Kimberly and have children with her. Phil hopes they wait until they're off the mat.
Bama comes in second place, y'all! They are the first all female team to make it to the final 3 in Amazing Race history. We're psyched...are you psyched?! See what a little sass can do? Astonishingly, Tyler and James come in third, and are visibly humbled by the close call. However, they achieved their primary objective: eliminate those icky blonde girls from the race. By the by, have you ever noticed them ogle the girls, or speak disrespectfully about them? No? Huh, us either.

Dustin and Kandice arrive last and are eliminated. The soap opera tears commence, and the mat is left soggy with the broken hopes and dreams of a couple of girls who just wanted world peace...is that too much to ask, people?

Best bit of American Diplomacy:
Dustin and Kandice yelling, "Go Mohammed, go!" during the alleged gross-out eating contest.

The scoreboard:
Rob and Kimberly with a strong finish in first, Bama surprises and delights us with a second place, and the models round out the final three. This ensures at least one more week of "bro" and "dude" used liberally.

Coming next week:
It's a sprint to the finish, natch, where every mistake could be their last! Teams travel to Paris and New York as part of the exciting finale!
