Something For Nothing on the Peak

Get to Hong Kong and get up the Peak Tower now. Dubbing itself "The Hub of Your Hong Kong Journey," you reach it via the Peak Tram running directly from the city center for a bit under $3. You'll find yourself on the highest point of Hong Kong and the Peak Tower building on the top has just been "revitalized" and reopened with shopping, dining and entertainment options galore.
So why go there? That's easy: for the free tai chi. The Hong Kong tourism board is sponsoring weekly tai chi sessions on the rooftop. Rock up at 9am on Saturday mornings (wearing your best loose-fitting clothing) and you'll be treated to an authentic tai chi session with a view over all of Hong Kong. The tai chi teacher's even demonstrated this gentle art to British PM Tony Blair, so he must be something special. Treat your soul well on your next visit to Hong Kong and start your weekend with something good for body, mind and bank balance.
