Lake Tahoe Launches New Shuttle

Remember when we told you all about getting out to Lake Tahoe for learn-to-ski-on-the-cheap weekend? You might have been wondering, "How am I supposed to get from the airport to my hotel?!" Well wonder no longer: The North Lake Tahoe Express launches today, with round trips service from Reno-Tahoe Airport to your crash pad for just $60.
You see, until now, ski bums had to take lengthy cab rides or rent cars (that would end up pretty much unused except for getting to or from the airport.) The new service, which is similar to buses in other snow-happy destinations, runs three different routes to hotels and lodging along the north shore. Shuttles also stop at Northstar-at-Tahoe, so you can go straight from the plane to the slopes, if that's your thing. We like to hit the hot tub first, but hey, that's just us.
