View Langkawi From a Cable Car
If you're not afraid of heights, the cable car pictured above provides one of the best views of Langkawi, Malaysia. The cable car is located on Gunung Mat Chincang, on the main island of Langkawi. It slides at a 42-degree incline above tropical foliage, and provides a view of the water as well.
There are two stops along the ride: one at the halfway point, for whimps, and another at the very top almost 2300 feet above sea level. It's a photo-op all around, but views at the top are best. An adult ticket for the ride costs just over $4, making this ride a must-do, no matter how good you think the beach view from your hotel is.
