Now that New York Magazine is recommending Roatan, too, you might as well get down there. But first, know where your dive instructors have been. Remember, the drunker they get after hours, the less likely they are to feel the need to come to work trashed; the less likely they are to come to work trashed, the less likely they are to leave your ass behind on a dive, Open Water-style.
That's why we like this video of a group of Roatan dive instructors on a good ol' visa run/booze cruise to Placentia, Belize, enjoying beers and playing a game in which the guys try to throw ice cubes down the bikini top of a female friend. We also dig the use of Split Enz's "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" in the background.
