Nicole Kidman Heads to Kosovo

Move over Bono, and step aside Angelina: it looks like newlywed Nicole Kidman is the latest celeb to jump on the "Goodwill Ambassador" bandwagon. Kidman arrived in Kosovo this weekend as an official United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

She traveled through the region's worst war-torn areas during her visit, stopping in the southwestern town of Djakovica, one of the areas most devastated by the conflict. She was named goodwill ambassador of the U.N. Development Fund for Women in January, and this is her first trip under that title. She told locals, "I'm here...to meet people, hear their stories and educate myself, and I suppose be a voice for you if you need it." Not her most eloquent lines, but hey, have to give the woman credit.
