Getty Villa One Hot Ticket

January 12, 2006 at 11:36 AM | 0 Comments

The Getty Villa, an exact copy of an ancient Roman villa from Herculaneum, reopens on Jan. 28th after being closed for nearly a decade. The villa will be used to display J. Paul Getty's collection of Roman, Etrustcan, and Greek antiquities. With so much pent-up demand, the free tickets for it have all been snapped up through the end of July. Here's hoping that the crowds die down just a bit by fall.
