NYC's Skyscraper Top 10

September 1, 2005 at 6:37 PM | 0 Comments

Over the summer the Skyscraper Museum asked 100 architects and other builder machers to vote on their favorite skyscrapers from a list of 25, and then came up with a top 10 from the results. As Gothamist points out, it's a great shortlist of all the must-sees in the city. An exhibit tied into the list, called Favorites, opened at the Skyscraper Museum today.

Here's the list, starting with the most popular:

  • Chrysler Building
  • Seagram Building
  • Flatiron Building
  • Woolworth Building
  • Empire State Building
  • Lever House
  • RCA Building
  • McGraw-Hill
  • U.N. Secretariat
  • CBS Building (AKA "Black Rock"; pictured at right)
