Golfing After Midnight

Where: Norway

The Sunday travel section in the NY Times has a great piece on golfing after midnight in Northern Norway.

I was 95 miles above the Arctic Circle and exhausted. But the midnight sun was out, the temperature was a soothing 60 degrees, and a lush golf course was at my disposal, so why sleep?
Sure it is just a nine-hole hack course of just 2,172 yards--a par 31, with four par-4's and five par-3's.

However, if midnight golf is what you are after, you do have choices.

Lofoten is the nine hole course, while Trondheim Golfklubb is a more traditional eighteen hole course, which holds a yearly tournament.

Grab your sticks and a couple Red Bulls and enjoy the phenomenon.
