World's Worst Airport

Where: Paris, France
August 8, 2005 at 8:26 AM | by johnrambow | 0 Comments

Over at the San Francisco Chronicle, John Flinn plays the always entertaining game of judging which airport is the worst in the world, using as criteria safety problems, amount of likely hassle, and the chances of getting from point A to B without missing your flight. The winner, a popular favorite in badness, was Paris's Charles de Gaulle, where the set-up resembles that of the Winchester Mystery House, the "security screeners seem to have been trained by Inspector Clouseau," and transfers from one gate to another can seemingly take an entire afternoon.
