Sleep in the Bullring

Maybe you weren't man (or dumb) enough to hit up the running of the bulls...now's your chance to make up for it. Check out the Quinta Real Zacatecas Hotel in Central Mexico. It's been constructed around a 17th century bullring. The all-suite property features rooms and a restaurant that overlook the arena which has been transformed into a glimmering courtyard.

With 49 rooms, it's intimate and also boasts a gym, spa and took the National Architecture Award. Rooms start at $350/night and every bed is recessed under an original stone or wooden arch. The town of Quinta Real offers strollable winding streets and a cable-car ride to the center of Zacateca's famous silver mines. Zacateca's Int'l Airport is about a half hour cab ride away.
