Air Guitar World Champion Named
Forget the lame party you missed this weekend or the hours you wasted watching the VMA's. The real tragedy was that you missed the World Air Guitar Championships that took place at the 45 Special in Finland.
Competitors from 18 to 44 got on stage to jam to their chosen riff after hours of careful practice. What makes an air guitar champion?:
"Charisma, a way of penetrating the music, technique and 'airness'"
This year's winner was a Dutch man known in air guitar circles as "The Destroyer" (above). We can see he got real into being authentic and has some def 'airness' going down. His prize was a guitar and amp designed by Brian May of Queen--every pro air guitarists wet dream.
