If you haven't spent time eating outdoors this summer, you've been wasting time. There is something awesome about packing a meal and finding the perfect spot to picnic. The folks at Daily Candy have rounded up a list of some of the best resorts across the country that serve up fantastic picnic baskets and have the views to match:

The Chanler - Newport, RI. They have a "beach butler" service that will fit you with seafood BLTs and spiked lavender lemonade while you enjoy the mansions.

Auberge du Soleil  - Napa Valley, CA. How does grilled salmon with lentils and pinot noir sauce sound overlooking the vineyards? Not too shabby...eh?

Enchantment Resort  - Sedona, AZ. In the middle of 70 acres of amazing canyon and blue sky you'll nosh on golden tomato gazpacho with grilled shrimp, seared sesame scallop salad and fresh limeade.

So, pack up your blankets and hurry!
