The Times has a witty article on driving tips all over Europe if you're planning on taking a road trip through various countries anytime soon.
Did you know it's a myth that the autobahn is speed limitless? Also being abusive towards other drivers in Germany can result in on-the-spot fines. In Drachten, Holland they practice "psychological traffic calming" meaning there are no road markings to encourage drivers to pay more attention to other cars and take more responsibility. And watch out for the sign with "a picture of a large hyena with a dodgy haircut" in Sweden. It means: beware of elk.
Hey, don't ever say we didn't warn you....
