Today's NY Times Escapes interview is with a seemingly sweet older couple talking about their summer Spring Glen Corners Catskill bungalow. Besides the fact that we immediately got reminscent about Baby in the corner, we thought cute, and then zzzzzzz. Until we read about the 'colony' atmosphere:
Everyone in the colony gets along. We have a community garden, a group yard sale and an annual potluck dinner. In between, we hang out. Several of us play guitar, and we all try to write songs. I wrote one about getting rid of the rabbits around here - with weapons of mass destruction.
Whoa, what the? No wonder there is no inter-bungalow strife. The loose cannon Mrs. would have you decimated.
