The Shanghai Suicide Map: No Sub for a Real Guidebook!

Well, this is nice and grim. Someone's put together a somewhat jokey map of 14 places to off yourself in Shanghai. The one pictured notes that  "The #57 bus goes directly to the zoo. You can jump into a tiger's mouth and die." Among the 13 other spots are venues for hanging yourself, jumping into a manhole, and lying down on subway tracks -- with each spot handicapped with an estimated chance of death. Of course, it's unlikely that this map would be the thing to push anyone over the edge, especially since most of the sites sound self-evidently deadly, or at least potentially so. The train option, sadly, is very popular already -- 65 people have tried to kill themselves that way in the past decade, and 48 succeeded.
