The Hotel Pennsylvania's Bedbugs

December 5, 2005 at 8:25 AM | by | Comments (0)

Two Swiss women who spent a week at Manhattan's Hotel Pennsylvania are suing the hotel because they say they were repeatedly bitten by bedbugs during their stay. And they weren't just little bites either, apparently they turned into lesions that worsened once they got home.

The hotel has paid for their hospital charges and even seemed well aware of the nasty bug issue: "The initial reaction from the hotel checkout clerk, before our clients said anything, was, 'You don't have to speak. Bedbugs.'"

Jaunted tip: Just avoid Hotel Pennsylvania. Bedbugs are foul. End of discussion.
