Rod Stewart Gets Freakier

After the birth of his son, Alastair, last month Rod Stewart did what every new loving father does. He, uh, buried the placenta in his yard!!! Apparently he brought it home after wife Penny Lancaster gave birth and stuck it in the freezer (right next to the chicken, no less), then de-frosted and planted it right next to a walnut tree. A touching ceremony by Penny herself ensued:

"I said a few words like, 'This is our little Alastair: May he have a long and healthy life.'"

What's next? We hope this doesn't become the latest Hollywood 'it' baby thing to do...
