CNN reports that crocodiles have just overtaken elephants as the animal most dangerous to Zimbabweans. In 2005, crocodiles ate 13 people, whereas elephants trampled "only" 12.
This is in stark contrast to the United States, where our most dangerous animals have names like "Tom Cruise" and "Paris Hilton" and threaten to take away your medication--or flash you their naughty bits--as diversionary tactics. After that, they go in for the kill. Truly terrifying.
