Borden...as in Lizzie Borden. Yes, they've turned the house where Lizzie dished out her 40 whacks to Mom and Dad into a B&B. Just in time for a creepy Halloween getaway, it features a replica of the parents' last meal (be warned: it involved johnnycakes), a tour and a gift shop.

Rooms start at around $175. They look neatly furnished and doable. We mean, really, you are there for the atmosphere. Be sure to pick up a mini-ax keychain or some hatchet earrings.
