This turboprop is the newest aircraft coming out of China. It's an updated version of the MA60, in use by just a few airlines in China, Asia and Africa. Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Corporation, a part of the ACAC Consortium, produces this one, and like its previous iteration it will be just as much for export as domestic use.

Full-bore production of the MA600 is scheduled to start in 2012, though a few will roll off the line before that. That should give Bombardier a few more years to flood the market with Q400s before China's turboprops are ready!
