The ARJ21

Back to Story :: 1 :: 2 :: 3

The ARJ21-700 cabin is designed for both multi-class and single-class layouts. It has room for eight business class seats with 70 coach seats behind; airlines can cram 90 passengers aboard in a single-cabin configuration. In both set-ups, seating in the back of the aircraft is 2-3, which means someone's gonna get stuck with the middle seat.

The stretched version of the plane, the ARJ21-900, packs in 98 or 105 passengers, depending on configuration. Aviation company FACC designed the interiors.
