What Are Your In-Flight Entertainment Options?

We asked around to see what in-flight entertainment is available to hard-of-hearing passengers for those longer flights and unfortunately, it's slim pickings. Unless you're lucky enough to get a foreign flick with subtitles already provided, your best bet is to BYO book or to lug your computer with you to take advantage of some in-flight WiFi.

If you are wanting to take advantage of any freebie in-flight movies, see which airlines below can provide you better in-flight options than figuring out the shape of clouds from the window seats.

· American: None
· Continental: Closed-captioned films available
· Delta: None
· JetBlue: None
· Southwest: None is available to those with hearing impairments or those whose ears work just fine, for that matter
· United: None
· US Airways: Closed-captioned films available
· Virgin America: None

What do you think about the options, or lack thereof, for hard-of-hearing passengers? Do you think more should be done to accommodate them? What are some of the problems you've encountered as a hearing-impaired flyer? Let us know in the comments!
