Airport WiFi: Boingo Offering Playoff Baseball for Four Bucks

If you've been frustrated enough by free airport WiFi that you've signed up for Boingo, you're in luck this playoff season. The nearly ubiquitous wireless provider has inked a deal with MLB.tv to offer up live, streaming webcasts of the Division Series. (Two contests in the American League remain this year; Boingo says the promo will continue into the two Championship Series.)
The "airport edition" of MLB.tv will offer the games at 23 different airports and without blackouts, a bonus that might come in handy if you're flying through Chicago tonight. Otherwise, the benefit to the service is simply that you don't have to elbow your way into a packed airport bar to catch the game.
You get four hours of access for $4, so hope that your hometown heroes can bring in a win without going to extra innings.
Related Stories:
· Boingo [Official Site]
· Beijing Suddenly Has More Connections to Monitor [Jaunted]
· Free Airport WiFi Map [Jaunted]

London: London Street Art: JR Takes Over Soho

Paris-based photographer and street artist JR thinks bigger than most of his peers. His black-and-white wheat-pasted images are gargantuan in scale, taking over entire faces of buildings and extending to the rooftops.
His work is often subtly socially conscious. JR takes evocative photographs of marginalized people from around the world and blows them up to massive proportions. Towering over you, it's difficult to escape thinking about who these people are, and what their stories are.
One of his latest projects is located in Soho in London.
Shanghai: Bike Sharing Travel: Rentals Coming to Shanghai

There's also a 200 yuan ($29) deposit per rental, as a friendly reminder that, uh, it's not your bike.
Related Stories:
· Bike-sharing's Biggest Friend: Shanghai [Bike-sharing Blog]
· Shanghai Launches Paris-style Bicycle Rental Program [AFP, via Google]
· Bike Sharing Travel: Options around the World [Jaunted]
[Photo of Vancouver's shared bikes: sillywailo]
