These two teams have been playing since you great grandparents were in college, so there has been plenty of bad blood over the years to get the rivalry going. Students see each other around town since both schools are located in Los Angeles, so the constant trash talking isn’t just between the schools’ coaches. Yes, they too love to mouth off at one another whenever they get the chance. USC leads the all time series and will probably bring home the win this year. However, if UCLA can pull out a win, the Victory Bell will be sporting Bruin blue for the holiday season.

· Rivalry Match-Up: The University of Cincinnati at the University of Pittsburgh on December 5
Cincinnati and Pittsburgh played a few times in the roaring '20s, but after that there weren’t many on-field battles until 2005. That year Cincinnati joined the Big East conference and a new rivalry was born.

It’s one of college football’s newest rivalries and solid play is making it one of the best. The two schools even used their academic abilities to design a snazzy new trophy to boost the competition. The Paddlewheel Trophy—named in honor of paddleboats that ran between the two cities—went to Cincinnati last year, and we’re thinking they’ll snag it again this year. However, Pitt does lead the River City Rivalry series, so anything can happen when the two teams meet.

Professional football has arrived and the World Series is pretty cool, but more importantly for some, college football is going strong. Here’s the scoop on just one of the country’s best rivalries to help your sports travel planning.

· Rivalry Match-Up: The Ohio State University at The University of Michigan on November 21
These two schools hate one another even though the teams aren’t as competitive as they used to be. Let’s just say they are both in a rebuilding period—especially Michigan. The teams have been battling it out since the 1930s, with the winner of the game often winning the Big Ten Conference and heading out to the Rose Bowl. Some even refer to this rivalry as simply The Game, so it’s pretty clear that this is a big one. Ohio State has won the last five games in a row, but Wolverine fans can always hope that this is their year to take home the win.

Philadelphia: What To Do Before, During, And After World Series Game 3 In Philadelphia

It's World Series time and things are all tied up at one game a piece after two nights of great pitching for both the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. Now the players and fans are driving down the Jersey Turnpike to get ready for game three between the Yankees and Phillies on Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park. Loving you just as much we do baseball, we've put together some ideas for ways to stay entertained throughout your baseball-filled evening. Again, feel free to ignore all this advice below if you'd rather just watch the game. After all, that's what you paid for.

· Before The Game
The Phillies newish stadium is located in the middle of a huge parking lot that is shared by the city's other sports teams—so we’re thinking that most fans are going to drive to the game. Standard parking is $12 per car, but we’re a little suspicious that they could increase the charge since it is the World Series. Public transportation is available through SEPTA, but the workers might go on strike this weekend—so a car could be pretty handy. If you want some trains, the Broad Street Line is the best bet, just peep the schedule right here.

Alabama’s coach used to be the big ~~dog~~ tiger over at LSU, but now he’s calling the plays for the Crimson Tide. Last year he was warmly welcomed with a chorus of boos and name-calling, and we’re pretty much expecting the same thing this year. These two teams have played against each other over seventy times so there’s lots of bad blood. Alabama leads the all time series, but before last year, LSU was cruising with a winning streak.

New York: What's Going On For Yankees Fans During The World Series

After several years out of the big game spotlight, the New York Yankees have returned to the World Series. This year is even a bigger deal since they’re proud to debut their new home. Whether you like the Yankees or the Phillies we wanted to give you the run down on what to expect at each stadium before, during, and after the game. Of course, feel free to ignore all this advice below if you'd rather just watch the game. After all, that's what you paid for.

· Before The Game
We’ve already told Big Apple natives the best way to reach the new Yankee Stadium, but we realize that loads of fans are coming in from the suburbs. Fans that are located within the Metro North service area will be happy to know that extra trains will be running directly to the stadium each night the game is in town. Just follow the schedule that’s most convenient to your neighborhood—there’s usually no need to connect through Grand Central. However, those stuck with NJ Transit will probably need to change trains.

Now that you’ve arrived you’ll need something to do, but forget about bringing your own pregame beverage—the city’s finest will be out in full force. So just head around the corner and down a few with your fellow fans at Stan’s Sports Bar. You’re not going for the service, but the atmosphere will certainly prepare you for a night of cheering. After you’ve entered the stadium, but before taking your seat, swing by Monument Park. Pay your respects to Yankee legends, but please, don’t get emotional, it’s just a game.

Green Bay: World's Biggest Waffle To Welcome Brett Favre Home

Even the most causal sports fan knows about Brett Favre and the problems he has making up his mind. Earlier this year, Favre was all about retirement, then all about playing football, and then back to dreaming of 365 days of golf. Well he finally decided to toss the pigskin around for one last season—we’ll see if one last season turns into more next year—and has led the Minnesota Vikings to an undefeated start. In about two weeks, Favre will return to Green Bay to play the team he led for many years, and the city’s citizens want to ensure that Favre has a warm welcome back home.

Mayor Jim Schmitt of Green Bay is asking for public suggestions for respectable ways to welcome Favre back to town. One of the best suggestions so far is to cook up a giant waffle in the shape of a number four—Favre’s uniform number. This will be a somewhat subtle dedication to the player’s reputation for indecision regarding his retirement. Another idea was to play a reel of all Favre’s interceptions while in a Packers uniform before the game.
