Tokyo: Paris Hilton Just Got Denied Entry to Japan

Japan is having a rough week with their celebrity travelers. First, the news spilled about Apple CEO Steve Jobs' alleged issue with transporting ninja stars through security and back home to the US on his private plane, and now Paris HIlton has been kept out of the country since just after touching down. Coincidentally, she was also traveling by private plane.

Japan doesn't have a problem with Paris so much as they do with her drug problem; the country is strict about letting in visitors with recent drug convictions, and it was only yesterday that she plead guilty in the case of the cocaine found in her possession during a stop in Las Vegas. Paris was headed to Japan with her sister Nicky, to promote their fashion line throughout Asia. Tokyo was to be first, followed by Indonesia and Malaysia, but after Japanese officials detained Paris at the airport and then refused her entry to the country, she was forced to strike Japan from the list. She's reportedly stuck in the airport's hotel until they can figure out what to do next.

We may not be private plane-flying millionaires with fashion and perfume deals to promote, but we have to say that it probably wasn't the best idea for Paris to fly out of the country so soon after pleading guilty on a serious charge. Oh well, she's Indonesia's problem right now.

St. Tropez: Paris Hilton Spent $350,000 on a St. Tropez Champagne Party

Paris Hilton continued to cause trouble on her seemingly never-ending European vacation last week. After making stops in London, South Africa, Paris and Corsica, Paris and her sister Nicky, along with their entourage, spent last week on a yacht in St. Tropez.

So far, Paris has been detained twice for the possession of marijuana while on vacation, and now, she's making headlines for giving a Nazi salute after a long night of drinking. Paris was reportedly joking around with her crew on the deck of their yacht when she made the offensive gesture. This happened the same night she supposedly bullied her ex-boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, out of the glitzy nightclub Les Caves du Roy. A source told the New York Post, "She asked the deejay to announce, 'Paris wants Doug Reinhardt to get out.' He left 30 minutes later with his head down."

Corsica: Paris Hilton Detained by Airport Police for Pot...Again

Paris Hilton got into a bit of hot water again Friday night when she flew into the Figari Airport in Corsica with pot in her purse. Paris, her sister Nicky, and a few of their girlfriends, flew to the French island via private jet, but didn't plan to stay long as they had a yacht waiting nearby to take them to Sardinia.

But, before the ladies had a chance to make it to their yacht, Paris was stopped by the police after their dogs detected drugs in her bag. They brought her into their offices for questioning but found less than a gram of pot on her so she was released without charges.

Paris Hilton left for a romantic getaway to France yesterday with her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. She took a few minutes out from lounging around with her "love" to keep us all updated on their trip via Twitter:

The big news at the 66th Annual Venice Film Festival—aside from George Clooney introducing his latest girlfriend to the world—has to do, as always, with movie debuts that tend to get film buffs riled up in their plush, reclining chairs. This year's festival drew names including Oliver Stone, Matt Damon, Michael Moore, and—oh, god—Paris Hilton to the celebration of international film.

Stone had one of the more memorable red carpet moments of the festival when he walked buddy-buddy style with Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to the premiere of South of the Border, his film about the leader and stereotypes associated with him. As The Telegraph UK reports, the two were surrounded by a swarm of 50 bodyguards. Necessary, sure, but also in keeping with Stone's penchant for controversy.

This is exactly what happened for a Kiwi named Phil, who took home the unexpected bookmark, verified that it was legitimate, and then put it up for auction on New Zealand auction site Trade Me, with the description "This is a bit weird, but someone may want it". Much to his surprise—being self-confessed ignorant about quite how famous Paris Hilton is—the boarding pass started getting a heap of bids, at which point Phil decided to donate the proceeds of the sale to charity.
