Has Kanye West been reading Eat, Pray, Love lately? It's been reported that the megalomaniacal star is considering going on retreat in India, to an ashram in Pondicherry to "reassess life."

After his famous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV video music awards last month, and the open liquor-swilling and outlandish behavior he exhibited in the front row and on the red carpet at the same event, it seems like Kanye is overdue for such a calming vacation. 'Tis the season for skinny dipping! Yesterday, rapper Kanye West caused quite a stir on both Miami Beach and the internet as his model girlfriend Amber Rose stepped just short of nude.

For most of last night, it was believed that the mini peep-show occurred on a beach just outside of Barcelona, Spain, when actually the couple was just underneath our own American noses, turning their hotel beach into a skin show straight out of Europe.

While Kanye seemed upset with the paparazzi as usual, Amber however smiled and bared more and more skin, eventually going full topless and making search engines go crazy with terms like "amber rose bikini beach pics" and "barcelona kanye girlfriend nude." It only came out this morning that they were in fact in Miami, and had just as quickly returned to New York. This is what happens when you become famous, people; you get to take quick mid-week trips to the beach and frolic with your nude girlfriend. We need to start getting famous.

With so much travel news raining down on us, we don't always have time to give every story its own forecast. Now here are some of today's more celeb-centric travel stories in brief.

· The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Will "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" be able to fill the void left by Carmela Soprano? More importantly, will it make people hop on the ACES on NJ Transit trains to visit the state? We're not sure. But do expect a lot of "Jerziness" to come out like: mall-hopping, nasal accents, an inside look at the "construction" business, the start-up of a strip club, trips to the Jersey Shore and we can only hope, some Taylor Ham. Yeah, Taylor Ham not Pork Roll. We hope the NJ Tourism board is ok with all this. [Bravo TV]

· Graydon Carter is Monkeying Around: The Vanity Fair editor is working on a new restaurant. The Monkey Bar is expected to open soon on East 54th Street in New York. Remember, Carter is already one of the folks behind the Waverly Inn. [Page Six]

It's been years that Kanye West has been threatening to unleash his talents on the world of fashion. He finally made good this week when kicks he designed for Louis Vuitton hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

While on his blog, Mr. West seemed more concerned with dispelling rumors that he wants to do porn, the Louis Vuitton Don was all smiles with Marc Jacobs, who designed the collection featuring West's bright high-tops and loafer-style sneakers. Nor is he stopping there: West also designed a collection for Nike called Air Yeezy, expected to hit stores this spring.

The KWLV's won't be available till June, but if you've got the connections, you still have one more day to catch Paris Fashion Week: Today's remaining shows include Christian Lacroix (3:30 local time at the Centre Georges Pompidou) and Givenchy (7PM at 15 rue de l'Ecole de Médecine). Tomorrow, Fashion Week closes out with Elie Saab (12:30PM, 13 avenue du Président Wilson) and Jean Paul Gaultier (2:30PM, 325 rue Saint-Martin).

Dieters have the cookie jar. Spendthrifts have the Target sale. And this weekend, Kanye West and Lindsay Lohan proved they can't go to clubs in Europe without triggering an incident. In Lindsay's case, it wasn't her fault, but it still got ugly.

Lohan was accompanying girlfriend Samantha Ronson to the VIP Room Theater where she was DJing when animal rights activists flourbombed her on the red carpet. Lohan wasn't too shaken up, but Ronson later wrote on her MySpace page criticizing the, er, broad view of free speech the perpetrators demonstrated with Lindsay.

Meanwhile in Newcastle, England, Kanye West was arrested for hitting a paparazzo... again. Apparently upset at being caught outside the Tup Tup Club with four lovely ladies; West claims he held up his hand to keep a cameraman from shooting him, but the photographer says otherwise. On his blog, West cites Princess Diana and warns that the media who chase him are out of control. Oh Kanye, you go on with your bad self.

The sensitive, tortured artist known as Kanye West was arrested last week after smashing a paparazzo's camera at LAX. So what did he do right after he was detained from getting on his commercial flight? Got on another plane!

West left for his original destination of Hawaii on a private jet out of Van Nuys later Thursday afternoon.

In Honolulu he had time to resume posting to his blog and has been working on his next album at Avex Studios, which has offices in Hawaii and LA. He still gets his vacation in and he's on TMZ 24/7? Kid is a genius.

Cops arrested blogger and anger enthusiast Kanye West at Terminal 4 of LAX today before he could board his American Airlines flight. The MTV antagonist, says TMZ, smashed one paparazzo's camera before his assistant smashed the video camera of another.

Kanye didn't even have a chance to run his MacBook Air through the X-ray machine before police stepped in.

Unfortunately for the rapper, a TMZ reporter was on the scene and was able to video the whole thing. Naturally:

Update: The now-released video shows West smashing only the flash of a camera, not the whole thing. So. There's that.
