Check the bottom of this post for the update, including an answer on what you can expect from TSA's Gingerbread Man scanner policies!
It's kind of a big day for Ohio travelers, as three of the state's airports got the new Gingerbread Man full-body scanners that TSA has been rolling out.
Walk Off Extra Calories While Traveling Through Five Airports with Fitness Programs

However, walking is always a good way to combat those pesky extra calories, and many airports have gone the extra mile—ha—to help you. Airport officials have partnered with the American Heart Association to encourage travelers to “Start!” moving. There’s a clearly marked 1.4-mile loop that will take you through most of Terminal 1-Lindbergh, so if you’ve got an hour to burn it’s one good option especially since it drops you off right where you started.
Cleveland: The TSA Caught Don King with Ammunition in Luggage at Cleveland Airport

Chalk one up for the TSA today as they've gone and actually caught something dangerous in someone's luggage. That something was ammunition and that someone was promoter Don King, who was attempting to fly out of Cleveland's Hopkins Airport several hours ago, while packing heat for both .38 caliber and .357-caliber firearms, while the actual guns were not present.
Although it sounds like King stopped by Cleveland for a little "shopping," he was actually in town for the funeral of his wife, who recently died due to complications from stomach cancer. It's been a sad week for Don King, and even more so now that the TSA took all his ammunition. He was, however, allowed to continue with his flight to Florida once they'd taken all of the dangerous items from his luggage.
What Happened To Pittsburgh's Airport Could Spread To Cleveland

Since you’ll probably be spending some time in an airport hub during your holiday travels, we thought we’d share a little story about one in particular. Unfortunately for the airport and the city, it’s just not as important as it once was. We’re talking about the Pittsburgh International Airport, and after US Airways shifted their planes and people elsewhere, the place has become a little empty.
Most of the additions were built at the airport to please US Airways, because after all, they were the one bringing in all the jobs and jets into the area. It cost about $1 billion to get the Pittsburgh airport to where it needed to be at the time, but now it seems that the construction and cash was all for naught. The place was supposed to hold over 30 million passengers a year without a problem, but now it only sees about 8 million passengers wheeling their suitcases through the terminals.
